BRIAN ROBERTSON, GARY CHERONE, MARCO MENDOZA Interviewed On Shockwaves/HardRadio Podcast

March 23, 2011

Shockwaves/HardRadio Podcast #50 — in which host Bob Nalbandian conducts separate interviews with legendary guitarist Brian Robertson (THIN LIZZY, MOTÖRHEAD, WILD HORSES); EXTREME/HURTSMILE vocalist Gary Cherone; and current THIN LIZZY bassist Marco Mendoza — is available for download at this location (M4A file, 30 MB). Robertson discusses his new solo project, his time with THIN LIZZY and MOTÖRHEAD, his thoughts on the new THIN LIZZY lineup, and he shares some fond memories of the late, great Gary Moore; Cherone talks about his new side project HURTSMILE; while Mendoza discusses THIN LIZZY and his new solo album/project entitled "Casa Mendoza".

"Diamonds And Dirt", the first solo CD by Brian Robertson, is due on March 28 (Germany: March 25; U.S./Canada: April 5) via Steamhammer/SPV.

HURTSMILE is frontman extraordinaire Gary Cherone's (EXTREME, ex-VAN HALEN) latest project and features Cherone collaborating with his brother, guitarist Mark Cherone. The band's self-titled debut was just released in North America via Frontiers Records and has been winning over the press and fans alike.

HURTSMILE will perform at this year's M3 Festival at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland on Saturday, May 14.

THIN LIZZY will guest on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" with host Bob Coburn on Wednesday, March 23 at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET. Fans are encouraged to speak with THIN LIZZY and by calling 1-800-344-ROCK (7625).
