BRET MICHAELS' 'Rock Of Love' Among 'The A-List Awards' Nominees

February 26, 2009

VH1's dating competition "Rock Of Love With Bret Michaels", featuring POISON singer Bret Michaels, is nominated in the "Reality's Guiltiest Pleasure" category at Bravo's second annual "The A-List Awards", which celebrates the best in food, fashion, beauty, design and pop culture. The awards honor those who have made an unforgettable mark in the arts and showcase some of the leading creative minds in today's society. Once again hosted by Emmy Award winner and "My Life on the D-List" star Kathy Griffin, "The A-List Awards" will film at The Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, April 5, with a special red-carpet pre-show.

The "Reality's Guiltiest Pleasure" award will be presented to the most popular and entertaining individual in a reality TV series.

Michaels is taking his hit show on the road in its third season (dubbed "Rock Of Love Bus with Bret Michaels"). This time around, Bret is bringing the women along as he travels America for a month-long solo album tour, "Rock My World", to show them what the rock star life has to offer in the first time ever that a reality dating show has gone on the road. And it gets crazy; fans are in store for the show's wildest season yet — so wild, in fact, that some of the footage will probably never see the light of day. As Bret rolls into each town in his pimped-out black tour bus, he will take viewers to the extreme, as a pink bus filled with beautiful blondes and a blue bus filled with gorgeous brunettes competing for his heart will follow close behind.
