BRENT MUSCAT Braves SARS And War To Bring Rock 'N' Roll To The World!

April 3, 2003

FASTER PUSSYCAT guitarist Brent Muscat will spend April and May overseas doing what he does best, playing rock n roll.

"I know a lot of bands have been canceling overseas tour dates and L.A. GUNS and FASTER PUSSYCAT both happened to have back-to-back tours," Muscat said in an official press release. "I don't take myself too serious. If our soldiers can go to Iraq and risk their lives for freedom, the least I can do is get on a plane and play some rock shows. I'm not particularly worried about terrorism or SARS. With FASTER PUSSYCAT, we toured overseas through the Gulf War and Ebola."

Brent will spend April overseas with L.A. GUNS and then will return to play a few California shows with his friend, original GUNS 'N ROSES drummer Steven Adler. After that it's back abroad for all of May with FASTER PUSSYCAT.

"I'm starting to get labeled a band whore, which is fine with me," he said. "Even though I'm a working musician, I think I choose who I work with carefully and I don't feel I have played in any lame projects.

"I'm having a lot of fun touring, but my book is my priority and along with my co-author we are making sure it is the best read possible. I've toured with GUNS N' ROSES, MÖTLEY CRÜE, POISON, WHITESNAKE, and ALICE COOPER, to name a few, so you know I have a lot of stories to tell and dirt to dish."
