BREAKING BENJAMIN has dropped off the current GODSMACK tour "due to health issues," according to a posting on the GODSMACK web site. DEADLY FISTS OF KUNG FU replaced BREAKING BENJAMIN Wednesday night (Nov. 22) in Pensacola, Florida. Meanwhile, Chicago's SOIL has been added to the following GODSMACK dates:

Nov. 28 - Ted Constant Convocation Center - Norfolk, VA
Nov. 29 - 1st Mariner Arena - Baltimore, MD
Dec. 01 - Bryce Jordan Center - University Park, PA
Dec. 02 - Peterson Events Center - Pittsburgh, PA
Dec. 03 - Eastern Kentucky Expo Center - Pikeville, KY
Dec. 05 - Broome County Arena - Binghamton, NY
Dec. 07 - Verizon Wireless Arena - Manchester, NH

Also appearing on the bill is SHINEDOWN except for in Pikeville, KY, where CROSSFADE will perform.

GODSMACK is touring North America in support of its latest album, "IV" (Four). The band plans to shoot a video for its new single, "The Enemy", and might enlist veteran actor Chazz Palminteri to direct it. Palminteri's acting credits include "The Usual Suspects", "A Bronx Tale" and "Analyze This".

GODSMACK drummer Shannon Larkin, guitarist Tony Rombola and bassist Robbie Merrill's side project, called ANOTHER ANIMAL, is tentatively scheduled to release its debut disc in early 2007.
