BRAINSTORM: Festival Appearances Announced

February 5, 2006

German power metallers BRAINSTORM have scheduled more festival appearances in 2006 following a brief break to allow frontman Andy B. Franck to receive treatment for neuritis. The band have issued the following update:

"We are proud to announce a first pack of festival dates for BRAINSTORM in 2006. Our first show this year will see our live debut in Oslo, Norway on the Ragnarock Kick Off, followed by a nice trip to Granada, Spain for Atarfe Vega Rock and some cool German festivals like the Sägfestival, this year's Rock Hard Festival and a stop in our neighbourhood on the Rock Am Härtsfeldsee. Also, we are very happy to say that 2006 will see the long-overdue return to the U.K. where BRAINSTORM will play the mighty Bloodstock UK metalfest. Really very looking forward to kick some serious ass this year and seeing all of you again. More shows are close to be confirmed, so stay tuned for more to come."

Upcoming BRAINSTORM shows:

Feb. 24 - Ragnarock Kick-Off – Oslo, NOR
Mar. 10 - Atarfe Vega Rock - Atarfe-Granada, SPA
May 19 - Sägfestival – Greding, GER
Jun. 2-4 - Rock Hard Festival Amphitheater – Gelsenkirchen, GER
Jun. 16-17 - Rock Am Härtsfeldsee – Dischingen, GER
Sep. 30 - Bloodstock 06 UK Metalfest – Derby, UK

BRAINSTORM's latest album, "Liquid Monster", was released last spring via Metal Blade Records. The CD was mixed at House Of Music Studios in Winterbach, Germany with producer Achim Köhler.
