Seattle-based blackened death metallers BOOK OF BLACK EARTH have posted the first in a series of video clips documenting the recording process for the band's new album, "The Cold Testament", due on May 24 via Prosthetic Records. The clip, which can be seen below, focuses on the drum-tracking sessions with Joe Axler.

"The Cold Testament" was recorded by Chris Common (PELICAN, THE SWORD) at the Red Room Studio in Seattle and was mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö (BLOODBATH, NASUM, OPETH) at Unisound in Sweden. The cover artwork was created by renowned artist Derek Noble.

"The Cold Testament" track listing:

01. Weight of the World
02. Cross Contamination
03. Antartica
04. Irritating Spectre
05. Termination
06. Research and Destroy
07. Road Dogs From Hell
08. I See Demons

Look for BOOK OF BLACK EARTH, which has previously appeared with the likes of WATAIN, CATTLE DECAPITATION, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, AMEBIX, and many more, to hit the road later this year in support of "The Cold Testament".
