BLUDGEON To Release Live DVD

July 26, 2003

Chicago-based metallers BLUDGEON will release a live DVD/CD, entitled "Crucified Live", on September 22 through MANOWAR's label imprint, Magic Circle Music.

The DVD/CD package is "nothing short of a mind-numbing experience for any fan of heavy metal!" according to an official press release. "Watch out for yourself as BLUDGEON is unleashed, for the first time, their brand of head-exploding death/thrash metal on unsuspecting European audiences. Included in this 45-minute collection of metal mayhem are live performances of eight blistering tracks, including 'Zero Tolerance', 'Hatred', and 'Abandoned'. Outrageous outtakes and often-hilarious, backstage footage punctuate the energetic stage presentations, revealing more than a glimpse of everyday life on the road in Europe as the support act for MANOWAR. Filmed in 12 countries with cuts taken from 35 different performances, shot with 6 cameras, recorded and mixed in digital, 5.1 surround sound that will shred your speakers, this DVD displays the animalistic power and devastation that blasted more than 100,000 people on BLUDGEON's highly anticipated European tour! If that isn't enough, two bonus songs round out the DVD — 'Smoke Screen' and the music video for the track 'Crucify The Priest'. Also in this package is an audio CD, featuring not only BLUDGEON's debut album, 'Crucify The Priest' [produced by MANOWAR bassist Joey DeMaio], in its entirety, but all the live tracks included on the DVD! An adventure from start to finish, this package is a must-have for any true metal devotee. The music is bold the performances are brutal, brash, and — totally bludgeoning!"
