BLOWSIGHT Finishes Recording Debut Album

May 6, 2007

BLOWSIGHT, the Swedish band featuring former DRAIN STH guitarist Flavia Canel on bass, recently entered the studio to record its full-length debut. The group has since issued the following update:

"Hey hey HEY!! We literally squuezed the SHYTE out of the new songs for the record, and we're soooo satisfied. This little monster contains every single rock aspect you can possibly think of! Hmm, now lemme see — we got the heavy, pounding parts, those melodic upbeat bridges, the punk attitude, the thrashy riffs, the double kickdrums, the mellow emotional stuff we love to love. We've got some harmonizing guitar solos, some growls, some 'yeahs' (!),some adult words (!!),some serious DEEP poetric lyrics. Hell, we even got some wicked hockey-choir-party-singalong-parts. And of course, the piano, the violins, the tablas percussion and waaay more, is poured in.

"We're currently sitting on the finished rough mix, waiting for a date with our friend Christofer Stannow (THE RASMUS, ESKOBAR, TIMBUKTU, etc) to master the whole shebang (May 14th). It's called 'Destination: Terrorville'. We love it, and we hope and think you will too."

BLOWSIGHT performed two songs acoustically during an appearance on Swedish national TV channel TV4's "Nyhetsmorgon" show on March 1. Watch video footage at TV4.se:

BLOWSIGHT recently signed a contract with Scandinavia's "leading tour company" 2Entertain.
