BLOODSIMPLE To Open For DISTURBED On JÄGERMEISTER MUSIC TOUR's Second Leg

October 26, 2005

The ever-growing, ever-raging Jägermeister Music Tour is set to charge this fall. This time out, DISTURBED leads the assault. CORROSION OF CONFORMITY serves as direct support on the first leg of the tour and BLOODSIMPLE will do the honors on the second leg. Each night a Jägermeister-sponsored band will open the show.

DISTURBED, the Windy City's alt-metal rockers, will unleash their raw, thundering attack throughout the multi-city tour, now in its fifth year. DISTURBED will be touring in celebration of the release of their third album, "Ten Thousand Fists" (Warner Bros.),which debuted at #1 on Billboard's charts with sales of over 240,000 its first week out.

"I really respect what Jägermeister has done on previous tours," says singer David Draiman, "so now that we're doing our first headlining tour in two years, we want it to be the Jägermeister Music Tour. We're psyched to be headlining. I'm a huge fan of the drink, and there's no doubt that DISTURBED and Jägermeister are a perfect mix."

Says Rick Zeiler, Director of Marketing & Brand Development for Sidney Frank Importing Co., Inc., the importers of Jägermeister, "Jägermeister is thrilled to be working with DISTURBED! We've been fans of their music for years, and now we finally get the chance to showcase them on the Jägermeister Music Tour!"

In the great tradition of the Jägermeister Music Tour, the ticket price will be kept in the $30 range, ensuring plenty of bang for the buck. Fans can expect great Jägermeister prizes and giveaways like the Jägermeister compilation CDs with live and unreleased tracks from Jägermeister bands as well as plenty of Jägermeister shirts, hats, and other prizes and giveaways from tour sponsors Schecter Guitars, Peavey Electronics, and Coffin Case.
