April 28, 2004

Swedish death/black metallers BLOODSHED have uploaded audio samples from their recently completed three-song promotional CD, entitled "Blade Eleventh", at their official web site, www.bloodshed.info. The tracks available for download are as follows:

01. Living Palindrome (mp3, 6:36 min. 6.04 MB)
02. Dead Men Walking (mp3 clip, 1:08, 1.04 MB)
03. Shapeshifter Enemy (mp3 clip, 0:53, 836 KB)

In other news, the band, who fulfilled their contractual obligations to the Italian label Code666 Productions, have undergone several lineup changes over the course of the last few months. "First off: Joel decided to part ways with the band shortly before the recording of 'Blade Eleventh'," the band write in a press release. "After the recording Mikael also decided to call it quits. And shortly after that Glenn expressed that he had no interest in doing live shows and also felt tired of rehearsing and recording. So replacements were necessary: Marcus Jonsson - drums (also in PANDEMONIC and SPAZMOSITY, ex-GENOCRUSH FEROX),Eric Wall - vocals (ex-OVERLORD) and Johannes Pedro - guitar (ex-CARCINOMA)." BLOODSHED, who released an EP ("Skullcrusher", 2001) and a full-length album ("Inhabitants of Dis", 2002) through Code666, are currently seeking a record deal.
