November 13, 2007

Video footage of BLOODBOUND — the Swedish/German metal band featuring Fredrik Bergh (STREET TALK; bass, keyboards and backing vocals) and Tomas Olsson (lead and rhythm guitars) — performing the IRON MAIDEN classic "Wrathchild" with ex-MAIDEN vocalist Paul Di'Anno on July 22, 2007 at Bollnäsfestivalen in Bollnäs, Sweden can be viewed below.

BLOODBOUND was recently rejoined by singer Urban Breed (ex-TAD MOROSE). "Urban [who originally left BLOODBOUND in August 2006] has been doing all the live shows with the band for the last six months," reads a posting on the group's web site. "He is now officially back and the band is stronger than ever. They have also started to work on their third album."

BLOODBOUND's new album, "Book of the Dead" (featuring singer Michael Bormann [JADED HEART, BONFIRE, J.R. BLACKMORE, RAIN]),entered the Swedish chart at position No. 66.

"Book of the Dead" has two different covers: one for Asia and Brazil (cover) and one for Europe (cover). In addition, the Asian release contains a bonus track while the European version features a bonus video and comes as a limited-edition digipack.

BLOODBOUND last fall parted ways with with singer Kristian Andrén (MEMENTO MORI, WUTHERING HEIGHTS, TAD MOROSE) after only a few weeks of working together. The band also named Tomas' younger brother Henrik Olsson the group's new rhythm guitar player.

BLOODBOUND's debut album, "Nosferatu", was released in Europe in February 2006 via Metal Heaven. The CD was recorded and produced by Tomas Olsson and Fredrik Bergh.
