BLINDED COLONY Sign With PIVOTAL ROCKORDINGS

April 3, 2006

Swedish metallers BLINDED COLONY have inked a deal with Pivotal Rockordings. The band will enter Sound Palace Studios later this month to begin the recording process for their sophomore effort. A late 2006 release is expected.

BLINDED COLONY was formed in 2000 by guitarists Johan Blomström and Tobias Olsson, and vocalist Niklas Svensson. In 2003, the band released their debut album, "Divine", through Italy's Scarlet Records. The following year, BLINDED COLONY parted ways with both Scarlet Records and vocalist Niklas Svensson. In 2005 Johan Schuster (Skörda) took over vocal duties and the band cut a demo, which caught Pivotal Rockordings' attention. The tracks "In Here" and "Aaron's Sons" can be heard at the band's web site.

Upcoming BLINDED COLONY shows:

April 29 - Folkets Hus - Olofström, SWWE (w/ HELLFUELED)

May 26 - TBA - Kristianstad, SWE (w/ DEATHSTARS)
