BLINDEAD: 'Affliction XXVII II MMIX' Video Released

July 19, 2011

"Affliction XXVII II MMIX", the new video from BLINDEAD, the brainchild of ex-BEHEMOTH guitarist Mateusz "Havoc" Smierzchalski, can be seen below. The clip was directed by Roman Przylipiak, the creator of the film "My Little Bees", which is based on the story told within BLINDEAD's third album, "Affliction XXVII II MMIX".

"Affliction XXIX II MXMVI" was released in April via Mystic Production. The band's "most complex and melodic" effort to date contains seven original songs and is said to be a concept album telling the story of an autistic girl.

"Affliction XXIX II MXMVI" track listing:

01. Self-Consciouness Is Desire And
02. After 38 Weeks
03. My New Playground Bacame
04. Dark And Gray
05. So It Feels Like Misunderstanding When
06. All My Hopes And Dreams Turn In To
07. Affliction XXVII II MMIX

BLINDEAD was formed in 1999 as a "fun" project for bassist Michal Zimorski and guitarist Mateusz "Havoc" Smierzchalski. Over time, the band became a more serious endeavor and after several lineup changes the group signed a deal with Empire Records. Their first album, "Devouring Weakness", was released in 2006 and was followed by 2008's "Autoscopia/Murder In Phazes" via Deadline Records.

During 2009 BLINDEAD played shows in Poland, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany and Hungary.
