BLAZE: Dates In Czech, Slovak Republics Postponed

BLAZE, the British band led by former IRON MAIDEN/WOLFSBANE singer Blaze Bayley, have been forced to cancel their previously announced dates in the Czech and Slovak Republics "due to circumstances beyond our control," according to a posting on the group's web site. "Ticket holders should contact their ticket outlet for more information. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused and hope to re-schedule the dates as soon as possible."

The affected dates are as follows:

May 13 -Czech Republic Plzen, CZR - KD Šeríkovka
May 14 - Bánská, SK - Bystrica
May 15 - Zlín, CZR - RC Golem

As previously reported, SPV Records has set a June 8 U.S. release date for the new BLAZE album, entitled "Blood & Belief". The follow-up to 2002's "Tenth Dimension", "Blood & Belief" was recorded at Backstage Studios in Derbyshire, England with producer Andy Sneap.
