BLACKWOLFGOAT Debut Album Available For Streaming

June 1, 2010

BLACKWOLFGOAT is the new solo drone/ambient project from ex-HACKMAN/MILLIGRAM guitarist Darryl Shepard. The debut album, "Dragonwizardsleeve", was recently recorded and mastered and is available for streaming now on BLACKWOLFGOAT's MySpace page. The effort is all guitar and was performed entirely live in the studio with no overdubs. It was recorded at Amps vs. Ohms studio by Glenn Smith and mastered at New Alliance East by Nick Zampiello.

BLACKWOLFGOAT is currently looking for a label home for "Dragonwizardsleeve".

The track listing for the LP is as follows:

01. Risk & Return
02. Death of a Lifer
03. Tinnitus the Night
04. The Goat
05. Aspirin Forever
06. Hotel Anhedonia

The Obelisk had this to say about BLACKWOLFGOAT: "There's a range of emotions and moods clearly on display here, which is refreshing given how much drone seems just an exercise for its own sake or a tryout of equipment. The distorted 'Tinnitus the Night' is on the shorter end at 4:17, but nonetheless creates an unsettled atmosphere of worry, and the sweeter 'Risk and Return' plays with light mathematics that seem to be trying to air positivity on top of light percussion."
