BLACKRAIN Signs With LISTENABLE RECORDS

October 21, 2009

Listenable Records has announced the signing of the French glam hard rock band BLACKRAIN. The group entered the studio in August to begin recording the follow-up to 2008's "License to Thrill" for a March 2010 release. The CD is being helmed by acclaimed producer Beau Hill, who has previously worked with RATT, WARRANT and TED NUGENT, among others. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Heart Screams", "Dead Boy", "My Young Star" and "Overloaded".

"We are extremely happy to inked a deal with Listenable Records and we've got a really great album on the way so naturally we hope this will be a great progression in our career," says BLACKRAIN singer Swan Hellion.

The band has spent all of 2008 and 2009 writing material for the new album and touring.

"License to Thrill" was released in France in November 2008. Two videos from the CD — "Rock your City" and "Innocent Rosie" — were released and got an "amazing resposne," according to a press release.
