BLACK TIDE: Interview And Live Performance To Air On 97.5 KMOD

April 2, 2008

Miami, Florida-based hard rock band BLACK TIDE will take part in an interview and live performance today (Wednesday, April 2) on Tulsa, Oklahoma's 97.5 KMOD at approximately noon CST.

You can listen to the program live via the Internet at www.kmod.com.

BLACK TIDE performed the song "Shockwave" on the March 27 episode of ABC-TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" (which actually aired the morning of March 28). Watch footage of the performance below.

BLACK TIDE sold 11,400 copies of its debut album, "Light from Above", in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 73 on The Billboard 200 chart.

After months of anticipation, BLACK TIDE has finally unveiled the video for its blazing single "Shockwave". The Travis Kopach-directed (BUCKCHERRY, PANIC! AT THE DISCO) directed clip finds the group turning a non-descript suburban home into a frenzy of moshing fans and skateboarders pulling tricks on a half-pipe! The motocross bad boys of the Metal Mulisha also make an appearance making this video a throwback to the glory days of '80s metal!

"Light from Above" was released on March 18 via Interscope Records. The CD was recorded with producer Johnny K, who has previously worked with DISTURBED, MACHINE HEAD and SOIL, among others.
