BLACK STAR RIDERS/Ex-ALICE COOPER Drummer To Host 'Hard Rock & Everything Else' Drum Camp

March 18, 2013

Hard rock/heavy metal drummer Jimmy DeGrasso (BLACK STAR RIDERS, ALICE COOPER, OZZY OSBOURNE, MEGADETH, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES) will host "Jimmy DeGrasso's Hard Rock & Everything Else" drum camp May 3-5 in Oxnard, California at the world-famous Drum Channel studios and the Courtyard Marriot in nearby Camarillo, California. Presented by MUSO Entertainment, "Jimmy DeGrasso's Hard Rock & Everything Else" drum camp will offer a limited number of students a total of 24 hours of hands-on, intensive playing alongside one of rock's most prolific players.

"Jimmy DeGrasso's Hard Rock & Everything Else" drum camp offers three, eight-hour days of hands-on drumming in a small-scale classroom setting focusing on rock drumming styles, playing with a click track, double bass techniques, rudiments, linear phrases as well as Jazz/Latin styles. In addition, you will get incredible insight into the dynamics of being in a band, surviving life on the road and Jimmy will demonstrate, teach, and share experiences from decades of drumming with some of the biggest bands and artists in the world.

The first day of camp students will enjoy a VIP guided tour of the Drum Workshop Factory in Oxnard, California and have the rare opportunity to spend an entire rest of the day working on their chops at Drum Channel studios. The following two camp days will be hosted at nearby Courtyard Marriot in Camarillo, California.

Register now for "Jimmy DeGrasso's Hard Rock & Everything Else" drum camp and receive a free, one-month subscription to DrumChannel.com.

Space is extremely limited to allow Jimmy to personally guide students through exercises that help hone and improve their drumming skills. Throughout most of the camp, students will play alongside Jimmy on their own, individual practice kits and pedals and benefit from the invaluable experience of drumming with a rock drumming legend.

BLACK STAR RIDERS fans can get a $50 discount on the drum camp by entering the code "Black Star Riders" into the coupon code box at checkout when purchasing a place at Jimmy's drum camp.
