BLACK SABBATH Tribute Band Featuring Ex-SABBATH/GREAT WHITE Bassist Schedules Gig

WAR PIGS, the Florida-based BLACK SABBATH tribute band featuring bassist Dave "The Beast" Spitz (BLACK SABBATH, NUCLEAR ASSAULT, LITA FORD, WHITE LION, GREAT WHITE),will perform at Bourbon Street in New Port Richey, Florida this Saturday, May 23.

Spitz, the brother of former ANTHRAX guitarist Dan Spitz, played bass for BLACK SABBATH from 1985 to 1987, appearing on the albums "Seventh Star", "The Eternal Idol", and "Sabbath Stones". Spitz was also a member of Lita Ford's band, AMERICADE, WHITE LION, IMPELLITTERI, SLAMNATION, INSOMNIA, NUCLEAR ASSAULT, GREAT WHITE, and Bill Ward's (BLACK SABBATH) band. He is currently involved with Nicko McBrain's (IRON MAIDEN) side project MCBRAIN DAMAGE. Rick Baum of MCBRAIN DAMAGE is the lead guitarist of WAR PIGS.
