BLACK 'N BLUE reformed with the classic lineup of Tommy Thayer, Jaime St. James, Pete Holmes, Patrick Young and Jeff Warner for an appearance at the Oregon Music Hall Of Fame on October 9, 2010 at the Roseland Theatre in Portland. BLACK 'N BLUE was also among the inductees at last year's event, which "included dear friends, family and a ton of BLACK 'N BLUE fans," says Thayer. He adds, "A fantastic introduction by Peter Tashjian, son of our beloved manager Garo, told the story of how in 1983, five irrepressible young rockers (barely out of high school) made their way to Hollywood to take their shot at the big time. After our introduction, induction and receipt of Oregon Music Hall Of Fame plaques, we jumped onstage for a 30-minute set of BLACK 'N BLUE faves, including 'Hold On To 18', 'Miss Mystery' and 'Nasty Nasty', among others. It was a great feeling to get together with Jaime, Pete, Patrick and Woop and let the good times roll again; and to celebrate all things BLACK 'N BLUE!"

In the late '70s, a glam metal band appeared in Portland called MOVIE STAR. The band included guitarist Tommy Thayer, vocalist Jaime St. James, drummer Pete Holmes, bassist Patrick Young and guitarist Jeff Warner. That band became BLACK 'N BLUE, releasing their 1984 debut album on Geffen with the hit single "Hold On To 18". The band recorded three more albums for Geffen, with two produced by Gene Simmons of KISS. The band broke up in 1989, reuniting in 1997 and again in 2007. The band is currently reunited without Tommy, who replaced Ace Frehley in KISS in 2002.
