BEYOND FEAR Featuring Ex-JUDAS PRIEST Singer: Audio Sample Posted Online

January 30, 2006

A short audio sample of the track "Scream Machine", taken from BEYOND FEAR's upcoming self-titled debut album, has been posted online at www.timripperowens.com (audio comes on once the page loads).

BEYOND FEAR features in its ranks former JUDAS PRIEST and current ICED EARTH frontman Tim "Ripper" Owens alongside guitarist John Comprix (SPAWN, 13 FACES),Dennis Hayes (ex-WINTERS BANE, SEVEN WITCHES) on bass, Dwane Bihary (MISSING SKIN) on rhythm guitar, and drummer Eric Elkins (CRYPTKICKER, ALL YOU FEAR).

"Beyond Fear" is scheduled for release on May 9 (one day earlier internationally) via SPV Records. The CD was recorded at the legendary Morrisound Studios in Tampa, Florida, under the direction of producer Jim Morris. The album consists of fourteen haunting metal numbers, which, according to Owens, "show unmistakably where my musical roots lie: in the classic heavy metal of the Eighties. However, I've transported that traditional metal style into the present, lending it its own touch."
