Belgium's BLOODSHOT Sign With SCARLET RECORDS

December 30, 2005

Belgian hardcore metallers BLOODSHOT have inked a deal with Italy's Scarlet Records. The group's debut album was released in 2002 on the Finnish label Cartel Records and and was supported by gigs with such well-known acts as SIX FEET UNDER, STAMPIN’ GROUND and HEAVEN SHALL BURN, among others. BLOODSHOT's new CD, entitled "Ultimate Hatred", was recorded at CCR studio (ABORTED, LIAR, SOLID) and is scheduled for release on February 20. It contains "nine brand-new, furious tracks: more aggressive and powerful, more breaks and more mosh parts than ever before!" according to a posting on the Scarlet web site. "A lethal mix between HATEBREED, SIX FEET UNDER and OBITUARY. The lyrical concept behind it is again inspired by a serial-killer: this time Jeffrey Dahmer."
