BEHEMOTH To Release 'Evangelia Heretika' DVD

August 4, 2010

Polish extreme metallers BEHEMOTH will release their second DVD, "Evangelia Heretika", this fall. More details, such as the DVD content, video clips, and pre-order information, will be made available in the coming weeks.

Commented BEHEMOTH vocalist/guitarist Adam "Nergal" Darski: "We've been through hell and back to make this release happen.

"I know we only have a few DVDs in our catalogue so far but they are not even close to what you are gonna experience with 'Evangelia Heretika'!

"Expect approximately five hours of essential BEHEMOTH.

"Longtime BEHEMOTH artistic collaborator Graal has provided us with some of his most disturbing and completed vision to date."

"Evangelia Heretika" (see cover artwork below) will be released in the U.S. via Metal Blade Records, in Europe through Nuclear Blast Records, and in Poland via Mystic Records.

BEHEMOTH will team up with the Swedish black metal act WATAIN for a North American tour, dubbed "Lawless States Of Heretika", in November/December. Support on the trek will come from WITHERED and BLACK ANVIL.

A special package is being offered to fans for $66.60 that includes the following items:

* 1 ticket to the show
* 1 pre-ordered copy of the BEHEMOTH DVD (shipping and handling included)
* 1 tour poster, received at the show
* 1 meet-and-greet pass to meet BEHEMOTH before the show
* Limit 40 per market

Fans can purchase this limited package or tickets at this location.

BEHEMOTH recently shot a video for the song "Alas The Lord Is Upon Me", taken from the band's latest album, "Evangelion". The clip was produced and directed by Dariusz Szermanowicz and Grupa 13, which previously helmed BEHEMOTH's videos for "Ov Fire And The Void" and "At The Left Hand Ov God".

Metal Blade Records will release BEHEMOTH's early EPs, "Conjuration" and "Slaves Shall Serve", this fall as a double-disc set for North America. The same release will be out in Europe on Peaceville Records.

BEHEMOTH was honored in the "Album Of The Year (Heavy Metal)" category at this year's Fryderyk Awards, Poland's most prestigious music award ceremony. Awards were presented in over 20 pop, classical and jazz categories at the event, which was held on April 19 in Warsaw, Poland.
