Savannah, Georgia's BARONESS is currently in Dallas, Texas recording its second full-length and follow-up to 2007's critically-acclaimed "The Red Album". The band has uploaded two in-studio entries exclusively via PasteMagazine.com chronicling the first two weeks in the studio: Part#1, Part#2. The as-yet-untitled CD will be released in the fall via Relapse Records.

The full audio of BARONESS' performance at the 2009 Roadburn festival is available for streaming at this location. The 52-minute set was recorded live at the sold-out event in Tilburg, Netherlands in April.

BARONESS has also announced a month-long North American tour alongside CLUTCH this summer. This trek will kick-off on July 9 and include a free show in Chicago, Illinois as part of the annual Kuma's Corner Block Party.

"The Red Album" came out September 4, 2007. The effort was recorded at the Jam Room in Columbia, South Carolina and produced by KYLESA's Phillip Cope.
