AXXIS Parts Ways With Drummer

German metallers AXXIS have amicably parted ways with drummer Andr Hilgers. According to the band, "Andr will concentrate his full energy on RAGE in the future. We wish him the greatest success out there and we want to say: thanks for all! We're sure that we all will hear a lot of positive things in the future from Andr."

Vocalist Bernhard Wei added: "Andr is a great person and a super drummer. He would earn to reach the top-ten list of the best drummers in Germany. We will miss him."

Keyboardist Harry Oellers stated: "We wish Andr all the best for his future and we're looking back on wonderful four years in a successful time."

AXXIS's latest album, "Doom of Destiny", was released in Europe last November via AFM Records.
