AXENSTAR Hard At Work On New Album

May 2, 2006

Swedish power metallers AXENSTAR have posted the following message on their official web site:

"We are now halfway through the recording process of our new [fourth] album and everything is going according to our plans. The sound is much heavier than before and we are really satisfied with how the songs are taking form. Some of the new songstitles are: 'Pagan Ritual', 'Seeds of Evil', 'Condemnation', 'Final Requiem', 'The Hide' and 'End of the Line'."

AXENSTAR's upcoming CD will be issued through Germany's Massacre Records, with whom the band signed late last year. The group recently parted ways with guitarist Peter Johansson and Thomas Eriksson due to "personal reasons." The three remaining members will continue with the help of new lead guitarist Joakim Jonsson (SKYFIRE, THE MIST OF AVALON).

AXENSTAR were previously signed to the Arise label.
