AXEL RUDI PELL To Enter Studio In January

September 1, 2005

German guitar hero AXEL RUDI PELL and his band have just completed their final performances for this year. The shows in Osnabrück, Wacken and Kavarna (Bulgaria) all went "really well," according to a posting on Pell's web site. Commented Axel: "Especially the show in Kavarna, where we played together with MASTERPLAN at the local stadium, was awesome! We really enjoyed ourselves and the people went crazy. We were treated really well and the Bulgarian audience was really enthusiastic!"

Regarding the group's upcoming recording plans, Axel said, "We can't record until late January next year, because I definately want to work with co-producer and engineer Charlie Bauerfeind again, but he isn't available 'till January, because he has shitloads of work to do with BLIND GUARDIAN's next record. So our new album will be released around late May/early June 2006 on SPV. I can promise that it will be a real masterpiece and it definately will be worth the wait, trust me!!! We will play some more summer festivals in 2006 and it is scheduled to have our own tour rolling around September/October next year."
