AVSKY To Release 'Malignant' In April

January 20, 2008

Swedish black metallers AVSKY will release their new album, "Malignant", on April 8 via Moribund Records. Says guitarist/bassist AE, "I think we managed to create a filthier, more hateful and darker feeling to this album compared to our earlier recordings. The goal with our music is, besides writing good songs, to recreate that feeling you got when you listened to black metal back in the early '90s, not necessarily to sound like those bands but to have the same feeling in the music, that black metal is something obscure and, of course, dangerous."

According to Moribund, AVSKY is "one of the most dangerous-sounding black metal bands the label's come across in many years."
