AVERSIONS CROWN Releases New Song 'Erebus'

January 15, 2016

Australian metallers AVERSIONS CROWN have released a new song in support of their current U.K. tour. The track is named after the primordial deity who personifies darkness, Erebus, and is accompanied by a visualizer/lyric video, which can be seen below.

"'Erebus' is the first taste of what's to come from AVERSIONS CROWN in 2016," comments guitarist Chris Cougan. "We've written over 20 songs for our next record, we're really excited about Mark's vocals, he is killing it. We couldn't wait to share some of it with you so head bang to 'Erebus' and we'll see you on the road soon with more new music!"

"Erebus", which will be made available to purchase digitally through iTunes starting February 5, will appear on AVERSIONS CROWN's next monstrous slab of brutality, which they will begin tracking this month.

AVERSIONS CROWN has been touring the U.K. with RINGS OF SATURN and A NIGHT IN TEXAS. They wrap up the tour tonight in London at Boston Music Room.

AVERSIONS CROWN's latest album, "Tyrant", was released in November 2014 via Nuclear Blast Entertainment.

Formed in 2010 in Queensland's Brisbane, the same sunny stretch of Australian coastline that is responsible for launching the careers of PORTAL and THE AMITY AFFLICTION, AVERSIONS CROWN developed its pummeling blend of mechanized brutality and haunting atmospherics by utilizing three guitarists brandishing eight-string guitars.
