AVENGER OF BLOOD Signs With HEAVY ARTILLERY RECORDS

May 1, 2007

Heavy Artillery Records has announced the signing of Las Vegas metal merchants AVENGER OF BLOOD.

AVENGER OF BLOOD has been busy making its mark on the metal underground since 2003 with relentless local and regional gigging as well as multiple appearances at Minneapolis Mayhem festival, Northwest Deathfest and a full U.S. tour with GODLESS RISING (featuring ex-VITAL REMAINS members). While their scathing brand of thrash metal is often compared to such legendary bands as KREATOR, SODOM, and DESTRUCTION at their finest, AVENGER OF BLOOD bring a sound that is unmistakably their own.

Look for the release of AOB's Heavy Artillery debut album "The Death Brigade" sometime in September. It will feature cover artwork by Joe "Motorhead" Petagno.

In other news, AVENGER OF BLOOD will be showcased with three exclusive tracks on the "Speed Kills…Again!" compilation from Heavy Artillery, scheduled for release on July 3. AVENGER OF BLOOD will support labelmates MERCILESS DEATH during much of their "Evil Curse 2007" U.S. tour in August and September. Dates will be announced soon.
