AVENGED SEVENFOLD Singer Interviewed At KERRANG! AWARDS; Video Available
Katie Parsons of Kerrang! magazine conducted an interview with AVENGED SEVENFOLD singer Matt Shadows at the 2008 Kerrang! Awards, held on Thursday, August 21 in London, England. Watch the two-minute chat below.
Hosted by ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian, Kerrang! Awards saw AVENGED SEVENFOLD collect the Kerrang! "Best Album" gong for the band's 2007 self-titled effort, METALLICA honored with the Kerrang! Inspiration award, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE inducted to the magazine’s Hall Of Fame and Sheffield rockers DEF LEPPARD acknowledging their Classic Songwriter award via a video message.
On September 9, AVENGED SEVENFOLD will release a DVD/CD package, entitled "Live in the LBC & Diamonds in the Rough". The live DVD features the band's April 10 hometown show at the Long Beach Arena headlining the Rockstar Taste of Chaos tour, while the CD contains previously unreleased b-sides that were recorded during the making of "Avenged Sevenfold", plus various covers, and other never-before-heard material. The DVD was directed by Core Entertainment's Rafa Alcantara, who also worked on the band's critically acclaimed 2007 road documentary "All Excess".
