AVA INFERI Added To TIAMAT / THE 69 EYES Tour

AVA INFERI, the Portugal-based band whose lineup includes guitarist Rune Eriksen (a.k.a. ex-MAYHEM guitarist/songwriter Blasphemer),has been added to the Hellhounds Fest tour alongside TIAMAT and THE 69 EYES. The dates are as follows:

AVA INFERI will enter the studio in November to begin recording its third album, "Blood Of Bacchus", for a 2009 release. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Fireflies", "A Witch She Was, The Witch I Am", "Lights", "Last Sign of Summer" and "All the Colours of the Dark".

Commented Rune Eriksen: "I'd like to announce that our forthcoming album, 'Blood Of Bacchus', will have ULVER mainman Kristoffer Rygg as a special guest on one of the tracks. We are very happy to announce this collaboration and utterly confident about the final outcome!"

In other news, "AVA INFERI has been confirmed as this year's headliner of the annual Fest Biqueira d'Aço in Vilar/Cadaval (Portugal),Saturday, October 4," said Rune Eriksen. "This will serve as a perfect kick-off to our Scandinavian tour starting [October] 8th in Tampere, Finland, and also as a try-out for some of our new material. Don't miss it!"

AVA INFERI last year released the video for the opening track of the group's second full-length album, "The Silhouette". The "A Dança das Ondas" clip was masterminded and directed by Rui Veiga who has previously worked with Robert Trujillo (METALLICA),among others.
