Austria's OUTRAGE Signs With MASSACRE RECORDS

July 8, 2013

Austrian death metallers OUTRAGE have inked a deal with Massacre Records. The band's new album, "Brutal Human Bastard", will be released in the fall 2013. The CD was recorded at Kohlekeller Studio in Seeheim-Jugenheim, Germany.

Formed in 2000, OUTRAGE has played death metal since the very beginning — influenced by both U.S. heroes as well as classic metal and rock legends like AC/DC and SEPULTURA. The band released its first demo, "And Deeper...", in 2002 and a studio album, "Switch Off The Pain", followed in 2006.

OUTRAGE played numerous shows in Europe and supported such bands as their now-Massacre labelmates DISBELIEF, MASTIC SCUM and DEBAUCHERY and went on mini-tour with LAY DOWN ROTTEN in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in 2009. The band's second album, "Contaminated", was recorded at the Kohlekeller Studio and was released in 2009 via Maintain Records/Twilight-Vertrieb.

OUTRAGE's sound is characterized by brutal grooves, blistering riffs and aggressive breakdowns paired with lyrics about anger, melancholy, frustration and social criticism.

OUTRAGE is:

Markus Urstöger - Vocals
Manuael A. Berger - Guitar
Gerhard Turk - Guitar
Michael Mittendrein - Drums
Erwin Forsthuber - Bass
