Australian Artists Pay Tribute To PANTERA's DIMEBAG DARRELL: Audio Available

Australia's LORD, who rose from the ashes of DUNGEON after its dissolution in late 2005, has posted its cover of PANTERA's "Shattered" at this location. The song will be included on the upcoming "The Art of Shredding - A Tribute to Dime" tribute CD to PANTERA's late great guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott, featuring Australian artists paying their respects the only way it should be done: LOUD! Also available is AETURNUS DOMINION's cover of "Mouth for War". Check it out here.

"The Art of Shredding" will contain 14 songs — 13 classic PANTERA tunes and an original Dime tribute song by Sydney thrash band MURDERWORLD. The complete track listing is as follows:

01. DAYSEND - I'm Broken
02. SWITCHBLADE - Domination
03. LORD - Shattered
04. IMMINENT PSYCHOSIS - The Art of Shredding
05. MALIGNANT MONSTER - Fucking Hostile
06. ENFORCE - By Demons Be Driven
07. PLAGUE - Living Through Me (Hell's Wrath)
10. BLACK STEEL - Heavy Metal Rules

DarkStar Records will be releasing this album on August 20, 2006 to celebrate what would have been Dimebag's 40th birthday. A percentage of the profits from the sale of this CD will be donated to the Dimebag Memorial Trust to help the families of those who are still suffering after the events of December 8, 2004.
