ATTACKER Prepare New Album, DVD Releases

October 14, 2004

Reunited New Jersey metallers ATTACKER will enter Trax East studios in South River, NJ on October 17 to begin recording their new album, entitled "The Unknown". The CD will contain eight new tracks and will feature artwork by Jowita Kaminska. Kaminska is an established artist from Poland and has designed album covers for DECEASED, EXODUS and many others. No release date has yet been set for the effort.

In other news, ATTACKER are working on a DVD entitled "Death By Decibels". Footage for the disc has been shot starting from the group's now-historic return performance in Hoboken's Maxwell's right on through their appearances at the Keep It True, Classic Metal Fest, and Milwaukee Metal Fest festivals. In addition, the DVD will feature behind-the-scenes footage, including the making of the "Soul Taker" album. The band have also come across some live footage of the late John Leone ("Second Coming" vocalist) that will be included. ATTACKER's headlining performance at the fifth annual Heavy Metal Maniacs Festival in Hoorn, Holland on Saturday, October 30 will also be shot for the upcoming DVD.

In other news, ATTACKER have been confirmed for both the Classic Metal Fest 5 (May 13-14, 2005 in Chicago, IL) and Headbanger's Open Air (July 8-9, 2005 in Botanik, Germany) festivals. Show times and confirmed dates will be announced soon.
