ATROCITY, LEAVES' EYES Confirmed For Romania's ARTMANIA Festival

ATROCITY and LEAVES' EYES have been confirmed for this year's edition of the Artmania festival, set to take place July 18-19 in Sibiu, Romania.

Alex Krull, who sings for both bands (in LEAVES' EYES, he splits lead vocals with his wife, Liv Kristine),commented, "Finally we made it: we are performing in the hometown of my grandfather! We are looking forward to be with all of you soon!"

Also scheduled to appear are TIAMAT and AGUA DE ANNIQUE.

The 2007 edition of Artmania festival featured performances by such acts as WITHIN TEMPTATION, MY DYING BRIDE, ANATHEMA, TAROT, THE GATHERING and AFTER FOREVER.

ATROCITY's video for the band's cover of the A-HA track "The Sun Always Shines On TV" can be viewed below. The song comes off the German group's new album, "Werk 80 II", which entered the Austrian chart at position No. 74. The CD also landed on the on the Deutsche Alternative Trendcharts (DAT20) at No. 14.

"Werk 80 II" was made available as a digipack deluxe edition, featuring different cover art from the regular version, along with the first "Werk 80" album and bonus tracks.

Like the first "Werk 80" release, which came out in 1997, "Werk 80 II" features ATROCITY's interpretations of hit songs from the '80s.
