Reformed German thrashers ASSASSIN have been confirmed as the co-headliners of the Keep It True VI warm-up show, dubbed "Metal Knights", set to take place on April 7, 2006 at Sporthalle in Dittigheim, Germany. Other groups scheduled to perform at the warm-up show are DRIFTER and DANTESCO. One more headliner will be announced soon.
The Keep It True VI festival will be held on April 8, 2006 at Tauberfrankenhalle in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany. Acts scheduled to perform include RIOT, EXCITER, ROSS THE BOSS (performing a set of early MANOWAR), SOLITUDE AETURNUS, PARADOX, AXEHAMMER, SILVER FIST, DARKNESS, WOTAN and POWERVICE.
ASSASSIN recently inked a deal with Marquee Records to have their first two albums (1987's "The Upcoming Terror" and 1988's "Interstellar Experience") distributed in North/South America and Japan. The band's long-awaited third offering, "The Club", is currently available for order via their official web site.
