January 2, 2009

Reactivated German thrashers ASSASSIN have released another brand new track "Judas" via their MySpace page. The band is currently seeking a label to release its fourth album, tentatively due before the end of 2009. According to the group, the CD will feature "old-school thrash with a modern touch!"

ASSASSIN will take part in the "Chris Witchhunter Memorial Concert" on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen, Germany. The event will honor late SODOM drummer Chris Dudek (a.k.a. Witchhunter),who died on September 8, 2008 due to vital organ failure.

ASSASSIN last year announced the addition of bassist Michael Hambloch to the group's ranks.

ASSASSIN is:

Robert Gonnella (Vocals)
Michael Hoffmann (Guitar)
