ASHES DIVIDE Not Playing A PERFECT CIRCLE Songs Live

April 11, 2008

The Pulse of Radio reports: ASHES DIVIDE will make its live debut in just under a month, when guitarist and singer Billy Howerdel unveils the lineup of his new band at a radio festival in Orlando, Florida on May 10. Howerdel has been preparing a set list mainly of songs from the first ASHES DIVIDE album, and told The Pulse of Radio that fans aren't likely to hear any tunes from A PERFECT CIRCLE, his previous band with TOOL frontman Maynard James Keenan. "I don't have any plans to do that, unless somebody gets Maynard to come up and come onstage and sing with us, then I'll be more than happy to throw something down maybe, maybe a little surprise here and there. But we're just focusing on the record and maybe there'll be a cover thrown in there."

ASHES DIVIDE will play another radio show in Tampa and the Rock on the Range festival in Columbus, Ohio in mid-May before joining LINKIN PARK's Projekt Revolution tour this summer.

ASHES DIVIDE's debut album, "Keep Telling Myself It's All Right", came out this past Tuesday (April 8).

The first single from the ASHES DIVIDE album, "The Stone", is a Top 10 hit at rock radio.

The group's touring lineup consists of Howerdel, Jeff Friedl on drums, Matt McJunkins on bass, and Andy Gerold on lead guitar. A fifth member might be announced shortly on keyboards.
