AREA 54: U.K. Tour Dates Announced

British melodic metal act AREA 54 has lined up the following U.K. dates:

Feb. 23 - Watersmeet Theatre, Herfordshire (w/ LOVE & BULLETS)
Mar. 11 - Junktion 7, Nottingham (w/ RISE TO ADDICTION)
Apr. 21 - The Standard, Walthamstow
May 26 - The Star, Guildford, Surrey
Jun. 03 - The Underworld, Camden, London
Dec. 15 - JB's, Dudley (w/ BLAZE)

As previously reported, AREA 54 has set "Bring out Your Dead" as the title of its new album, due later in the year via an as-yet-undetermined label. The CD will feature artwork by Joachim Luetke (ARCH ENEMY, DIMMU BORGIR).

AREA 54's sophomore full-length effort, "Beckoning of the End", was released in April 2003 through Casket Records. The album, which was produced by Dave Chang, featured a guest appearance from ex-AT THE GATES/THE CROWN vocalist Tomas Lindberg. The band was previously signed to Dreamcatcher Records.
