As a result of the group's current recording commitments, ENTOMBED have had to cancel their US tour plans for March, but they are still hoping to make it to these shores later in the year.

Glenn Hughes has completed work on his upcoming solo album, one that he calls his 'finest hour as a solo artist' and 'the most well-rounded album that I have done. It is a rock album that is influenced with the rock funk style that is Glenn Hughes. This CD is very melodic and features also a couple of acoustic tracks. My vocals on the album are heartfelt with raw emotion and intensity.' No release date or title has yet been announced for the CD. In related news, Glenn Hughes and ex-RAINBOW / DEEP PURPLE vocalist Joe Lynn Turner recently spent a couple of days in Los Angeles composing material for their much-anticipated collaboration effort, which is scheduled to be recorded during the summer and issued before the end of the year.

MALEVOLENT CREATION press statement regarding the cancellation of their North American tour:

...

MALEVOLENT CREATION's North American tour is cancelled/postponed!! Upon returning from their European Tour on March 1st, vocalist Brett Hoffman was arrested at US customs for a warrant for his arrest dating back to 1995. Apparently Hoffman had a violation of probation warrant for his arrest for quite awhile now and the law unfortunately has caught up with him. This completely sucks and will leave the vocalist incarcerated for a little more than 60 days. The tour was to begin March 31st with openers MONSTROSITY. I believe MONSTROSITY will continue to do the tour as the headliners now. On behalf of myself and the rest of the band, MALEVOLENT CREATION would like to apologize to all the promoters, venues, the bands and to our booking agency and fans involved in making this tour happen, we cannot do this tour without vocalist Brett Hoffman, and we will reschedule a new tour for the end of summer (July, August). We are all upset about this set back, but I'm sure when we hit the road later in the summer it will be crushing!!!! Malevolently, Phil Fasciana (guitars)

Following that, the band will embark on their first-ever full US trek of about 30 shows. No dates have been confirmed as yet, but the tour is scheduled to start in the beginning of May and last through early June.
