ARCH ENEMY's 'Tyrants Of The Rising Sun' DVD: 'Nemesis' Clip, Road Movie Preview Available

November 17, 2008

Swedish/German extreme metallers ARCH ENEMY have updated the e-card for their forthcoming DVD+CD set, "Tyrants Of The Rising Sun: Live In Japan", which streets on November 24 in Europe and November 25 in North America. You can now watch the live clip of "Nemesis" from the DVD's main show as well as a snippet from the road movie "The Road To Japan" in the special features section at this location.

Drummer Daniel Erlandsson comments: "I am very excited about this release as it showcases the band at its finest: Live in front of one the most amazing crowds in the world! Out of all the shows we have played over the years, this was easily one of the best — which you will be able to see for yourself soon. I probably don't need to repeat the fact that both the audio and visual elements of this DVD are of the highest quality, do I? Now, as a teaser we are releasing a second e-card featuring the song 'Nemesis' and a preview of the road movie — check it out!"

A trailer for "Tyrants Of The Rising Sun: Live In Japan" can be viewed below.

The "Tyrants Of The Rising Sun: Live In Japan" DVD contains a live show filmed in Tokyo earlier this year, an in-depth 40 minute road-movie feature, and all promotional videos that have been shot for the band's latest album, "Rise Of The Tyrant".

Commented guitarist Michael Amott (also of CARCASS): "While I'm out on a reunion tour with CARCASS in South America, I am excited to see the release date for the new ARCH ENEMY live DVD drawing nearer. The feedback on the already launched online snippets has been great, so we can't wait for you to see the whole thing and get your (blood-soaked) hands on the excellent packaging that's been assembled for this release. The e-card now shows you a full song, 'Blood On Your Hands', live in Tokyo March 8th, 2008! I just watched the whole DVD again myself last night and it makes me wanna go out and tour with ARCH ENEMY again right away! I'm looking forward to the December Tyranny dates, for sure!”
