ARCH ENEMY's MIKE AMOTT: 'I Am The Biggest Bitch Of All'

November 14, 2003

ARCH ENEMY guitarist Michael Amott has posted the following message on the band's web site:

"Hey ya'll..we're in Texas! And it's fuckin' awesome! The show last night in Houston was really great as we got to play 2 more songs (due to a situation with HATEBREED)...so it was 8 songs instead of the usual 6 — we threw in 'Dark Insanity' (off the 'Black Earth' album) and also 'The Immortal' (off the 'Burning Bridges' album)...recently we have also replaced 'Heart Of Darkness' with 'Bury Me An Angel' — it's working out great! We love playing the fast shit the best anyways... The 3 Florida shows were nice too...met lots of my old pals from the ancient times of DEATH METAL... [Guitarist] James Murphy [TESTAMENT, DEATH, OBITUARY] came on the bus an hung out for awhile — he looked great and seems to be recovering really well from the hell he's been through. Can't wait to hear him shred it up again on his upcoming projects!!! Angela got to meet one of her vocal influences and 'idols' — John Tardy from the mighty OBITUARY...super nice guy! I read on Blabbermouth today that I'd said in an interview that I think 'Metal fans are bitches' - well, I believe that too be true..totally! And the biggest bitch of all is me, ha-ha..I AM THE WORST! I AM THE üBER-BITCH!!!!"
