ARCH ENEMY Cancel Three U.K. Shows

December 17, 2003

ARCH ENEMY vocalist Angela Gossow has contracted a flu virus and is too ill to perform at the next three gigs on the band's U.K. tour.

As a result, the band have had to cancel the following shows:

Dec. 17 – Leeds, UK @ Cockpit
Dec. 18 – Birmingham, UK @ Carling Academy
Dec. 20 - Exeter, UK @ Lemon Grove

A statement from ARCH ENEMY reads as follows:

"We have just had to cancel the forthcoming shows in Leeds Cockpit, Birmingham Academy II, and Exeter Lemon Grove due to illness. We are obviously extremely upset about having to do this at such short notice, especially after a great show in Glasgow last night. We plan to reschedule these three shows in early 2004. Ticket holders should hold on to their tickets and watch this space for a fuller announcement very soon. In the meantime please check www.archenemy.net for any further developments."
