APARTMENT 26 To Support STONE SOUR At Los Angeles Gig

June 20, 2002

APARTMENT 26—the group fronted by Biff Butler, son of BLACK SABBATH bassist Geezer Butler— have been confirmed as one of the support acts for STONE SOUR, the side project of SLIPKNOT vocalist Corey Taylor and rhythm guitarist Jim Root, at the latter's headlining performance at the Los Angeles club Whisky A Go-Go on Wednesday, June 26th. According to the group, "this should be an interesting show for us, as not only are we playing for the first time with a new drummer this is also our first opportunity to try out an album's worth of new material on an audience."

As previously reported, APARTMENT 26 parted ways with Hollywood Records earlier this year and are currently seeking a new record deal with the help of manager Gloria Butler (Biff's mom and Geezer's wife). Among the tracks that are tentatively set to appear on the band's sophomore CD, tentatively titled Detachment, are the following:

01. Every Now And Then
02. Chill
03. Everything Is Fine
04. Gone
05. Love Spear
06. My Resolution
07. Last Ride Home
