ANTHRAX Members To Jam With CYPRESS HILL On Halloween

October 29, 2006

Pearl AdayMOTHER PEARL frontwoman, ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian's fiancée and daughter of legendary crooner Meat Loaf — has posted the following message on her official MySpace page:

"There was another trip to New York for the soft opening of the killer new rock club in town called Retox (511 West 28th St. New York, New York 10001). THE club man, Mike Diamond, is doing it again with this sweet spot for the rock 'n' roll inclined right in the middle of Chelsea in the midst of such posh hangs as Bungalow 8, and everyone's favorite NYC tittie bar, Scores. Scott [Ian] is part owner in this new venture, and will be personally hosting his own night there once a month and bringing along his various celeb buddies to hang with y'all, and/or get up for an impromptu and intimate performance if the mood strikes. The space includes a raised stage which is part of the V.I.P. seating area. This means there are couches on the stage so if you're in the crowd and you're lucky enough to catch one of the surprise jams you could actually have seat right up there in the middle of it all. It's like hanging in your billionaire-best-friend's living room, with a full bar. So rad. MOTHER PEARL is set to play there in the upcoming months, and there is also specualtion that our buddies Sebastian Bach and Axl Rose will be making an appearance in early November. You don't want to miss it.

"We'll be back there on Tuesday night for the Retox Halloween Party, when Scott and ANTHRAX bassist Frankie Bello will be jamming with members of CYPRESS HILL. If you're gonna be in town come on down, and bring your devil mask and your drinkin' pants. We're gonna rock.

"From NYC, the next day, we fly to Vegas for the VH1 celebrity poker game where Scott will be competing against Vinnie Paul, Ace Frehley, Sully (GODSMACK),and an as-of-yet-undecided celeb. Proceeds will go to the celeb's individually chosen charities. Scott has been honing his mad card skills."
