ANONYMUS Announces New Guitarist

Quebec metallers ANONYMUS have announced the addition of guitarist Jef Fortin to the group's ranks.

Commented Fortin: "We did about 40 shows together and when we came back from Quebec City on December 24, I realized I really wanted to stay. I just have too much fun with them to let go of this." ANONYMUS drummer/vocalist Carlos Araya states that his new partner "is all about rock! He brings new influences and freshness to the band's sound. He has been touring with us for five years; he is already part of the family."

ANONYMUS' latest album, "Chapter Chaos Begins", was released in Canada last October via Galy Records. The CD was produced by Jean-Fran├žois Dagenais (KATAKLYSM, MISERY INDEX) and was mastered by Peter In de Betou (MESHUGGAH, DIMMU BORGIR).

According to a press release, ANONYMUS is "a well-respected institution among the Quebec metal scene," having "always delivered a live performance full of intensity and infectious energy. They are without a doubt a driving force in the Canadian metal scene."
