ANKLA Bassist Hospitalized

During ANKLA's Midwest and East Coast tour with NONPOINT, SILENT CIVILIAN and SEEMLESS, the group's bassist, Edgar Gonzalez, had a seizure after an August 19 show at Mokena, IL, where he was hospitalized for two days. Due to his health, he had to return to Los Angeles and will be unable to finish the tour. The rest of the band will continue with the trek, with dates currently booked through late September.

ANKLA is the Los Angeles-based band led by former PUYA guitarist Ramón Ortíz. The group's debut album, entitled "Steep Trails", was released in July via Bieler Bros. Records. The CD features twelve tracks produced by Bob Marlette (SEETHER, ILL NINO, BLACK SABBATH).
