ANIMETAL USA/OBSESSION Vocalist Featured On New SOVEREIGN Album

Veteran heavy metal vocalist Mike Vescera (ANIMETAL USA, OBSESSION, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, LOUDNESS) makes a guest appearance on "Warring Heaven", the new album from SOVEREIGN, the French metal project led by multi-instrumentalist Samir Mhamdi. According to a press release, the CD "is complete with thundering vocals, epic guitar solos and catchy vocal lines."

The vocals for "Warring Heaven" were recorded at Vescera's Toy Room Studio in Nashville, Tennessee. All instruments recorded, mixed and mastered at Slabsound Studio in France by Gwen Kerjan. Additional keyboards on "Again", "Dragon's Breath", "Warring Heaven", "Khem" and "Ode To the Undead" were laid down by Gwen Kerjan. Drums editing was handled by Samir Mhamdi at Sovereign's Studio and Gwen Kerjan at Slabsound Studio.

Formed in 2000, SOVEREIGN's first three-song CD came out three years later and featured Guillaume Bideau (MNEMIC, SCARVE, ONE WAY MIRROR) on vocals.
