ANDREW W.K. To Release Live Album

January 25, 2005

ANDREW W.K. may be hard at work on his third full-length studio album, but this hasn't stopped him from announcing plans to release a live album later in the year.

The recording for the live album is already complete and "we're very eager to share the unbridled excitement of the A.W.K. live concert, frozen forever in time, and to be enjoyed perpetually," reads a posting on the singer's web site. "We hope that this live album serves as an instant transport into the dizzying dreamland of the never-ending A.W.K. party!"

ANDREW W.K. has reportedly recorded more than 20 songs for his upcoming album, which is expected this spring. Andrew released his sophomore album, "The Wolf", in September 2003. "The Wolf" was W.K.'s second full-length for Island Records and was the follow-up to his 2001 major-label debut, "I Get Wet".
